Okay, I am going crazy trying to figure out what the name of a song is. I believe it's a Chopin piece, it was featured in the notsogreat TV movie, "Mrs Washington goes to Smith" which I saw on the Hallmark channel. It's the one the girl played on the piano...

There was this opera singer who was famous around the 30s-40s, i don't remember which decade, really ..

She was an heiress and she was famous for being completely talentless at singing broken arias like 'der holle rache,' which probably was the only one i heard her sing. She was like the original William Hung.
